The 5th Annual St. Charles Borromeo Classic Presented by JJ White will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne, PA. The proceeds from this charitable event will go directly to support the formation of seminarians of today who will be our spiritual leaders of tomorrow. This event will feature golf at one of the premier private courses in our region, gourmet meals plus an upscale silent and live auction, featuring international vacations and access to some of the best private golf courses in the world.  The first four events sold out quickly and were extremely successful, raising well over $1,800,000 for the Seminary.

Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary's fundamental mission is the formation of  Catholic priests for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and other dioceses and  religious communities throughout the world for pastoral service in the  priesthood of Jesus Christ.  Saint Charles also serves the community by  forming men as permanent deacons through the Diaconate division, and  provides academic and pastoral programs for religious and laity through the  Graduate School of Theology.

Seminarians at St. Charles pursue a four-year liberal arts curriculum within  the College, or a two-year pre-theology program for students entering the  Seminary with a college degree, followed by a four year curriculum within  the School of Theology.  In Pastores Dabo Vobis, Pope John Paul II  identified the principal foundations for priestly formation as human, spiritual,  intellectual and pastoral.  These four pillars form the comprehensive  structure of formation at St. Charles that guides the development of men toward priesthood.  The goal is an atmosphere that fosters a thorough process of formation so that those called by God have a strong priestly identity, a desire to serve, and a love for God's people.
