The Partnership for a Healthier America's (PHA) Fit to Celebrate Gala is taking place on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in Washington, DC at Dock 5. We are looking forward to celebrating with special attendees including prominent philanthropists, celebrities, PHA board members, PHA Ambassadors, business leaders, and other PHA supporters. We will be presenting PHA's second annual Catalyst for Change awards which will celebrate the leaders who have played a major role in helping ensure that all children are at a healthy weight. Similar to last year, the evening will have a physical activity focus with elements like Fitness Flair attire, featuring athletic wear and sports teams. We are excited to welcome special guests: US Olympic Champion and television host, Summer Sanders, and multi-platinum recording artist and actress, Jordin Sparks.

Thank you to everyone who supported the 2016 Fit to Celebrate Gala!

PHA is devoted to working with the private sector to ensure the health of our nation’s youth by solving the childhood obesity crisis. PHA brings together public, private and nonprofit leaders to broker meaningful commitments and develops strategies to end childhood obesity. Most importantly, PHA ensures that commitments made are commitments kept by working with unbiased, third parties to monitor and publicly report on the progress our partners are making to show everyone what can be achieved when we all work together.

Founded in 2010 in conjunction with – but independent from –Let’s Move!, PHA is a nonpartisan, nonprofit that is led by some of the nation’s most respected health and childhood obesity advocates. Supporting our effort is our honorary chair Former First Lady Michelle Obama, alongside our honorary vice-chairmen The Honorable William H. Frist, MD, and US Senator Cory A. Booker.
