Pet Rescue would like to congratulate this year's award recipients:
Jennifer Gunzer, Elizabeth Petrillo and Jamie Prospero
We are thrilled to honor these three super women who have rescued many dogs, fostered them, provided medical care and ensured that they found the best homes. They demonstrate how, with very full lives - 11 children, 9 dogs and 1 cat
between them - they have enough time, love and energy to save dogs from Texas, Los Angeles, Florida and South Korea. We are very honored that they choose to partner with Pet Rescue.
Julia Handel, 12, has been selling homemade dog treats and donating proceeds to Pet Rescue over the past year. Her original goal was $1,000 but her treats became so popular, she quickly reached that goal and exceeded it. Her new goal is now $1,500. This young lady is a shining example of how one person can make a big difference.
Pet Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue organization founded in 1982. We have great success in finding homes for puppies and kittens as well as older animals and those with special needs, such as blind and handicapped cats and dogs. Over the years we have placed more than 10,000 neglected, abandoned or abused dogs and cats in loving homes.
We sincerely appreciate your generosity and thank you for helping Pet Rescue continue its mission of saving the lives of these beautiful, helpless creatures.
