To Benefit: Special Olympics District of Columbia. SODC provides free sports training and Olympic style competition to nearly 1,600 DC residents with intellectual disabilities every year. Your participation supports programs that help our athletes participate as productive and respected members of society at large, by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition, and by increasing the public’s awareness of their capabilities and needs.

Attendees: Approximately 600 DC Community members from a broad range of sectors come out to show their support. They represent the legal, business, sports, non-profit, military, real estate and insurance industries among others.

Auction: The Night of Trees features 12 themed Christmas trees custom-decorated by local artists and designers. The auction also includes a variety of fun and interesting items such as spa and winery packages, vacations, sports memorabilia, art and more.

Tickets/Tables: $300 per ticket and $3,000 per table (8 or 10 seats). Some tables have two Special Olympics athlete ambassadors seated to join you and your guests.

Sponsorships: Sponsoring The Night of Trees Gala offers your company numerous marketing benefits, a chance to reward your employees and network with other professionals, an opportunity for product placement, and a positive association with an organization with an important mission as well as a well-recognized brand.

Thanks to our Host Committee: Ken Logue, Capital Search Group; Anita LaRue McAfee, Arbonne International; Doug Armstrong, AARP; Charles Renninger, Independent Order of Odd Fellows; Eric Walker, Janney Montgomery Scott; Lindsey Holman, Aegis Resilience LLC; Katrina James, Brookfield; Barry Scanlon, DCMC partners; Logan Clark, Booz Allen Hamilton; Shannan Robinson, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; Maria Ling, George Washington University; Brittany Roush, Lighthouse eDiscovery; Inga Savage, Cornerstone Research; Christy Weir, Special Olympics International; Mandy Murphy, PeacePlayers International
