Special Olympics District of Columbia. SODC provides free sports training and Olympic style competition to nearly 1,600 DC residents with intellectual disabilities every year. Your participation supports programs that help our athletes participate as productive and respected members of society at large, by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition, and by increasing the public’s awareness of their capabilities and needs.
Approximately 600 DC Community members from a broad range of sectors come out to show their support. They represent the legal, business, sports, non-profit, military, real estate and insurance industries among others.
The Night of Trees features 12 themed Christmas trees custom-decorated by local artists and designers. The auction also includes a variety of fun and interesting items such as spa and winery packages, vacations, sports memorabilia, art and more.
$300 per ticket and $3,000 per table (8 or 10 seats). Some tables have two Special Olympics athlete ambassadors seated to join you and your guests.
Sponsoring The Night of Trees Gala offers your company numerous marketing benefits, a chance to reward your employees and network with other professionals, an opportunity for product placement, and a positive association with an organization with an important mission as well as a well-recognized brand.

Your support makes the difference between a person with intellectual disabilities sitting on the sidelines or getting in the game!
