Classified as one of eighteen Cinquièmes Crus (Fifth Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855, Château Pontet-Canet is located at the Northern end of the Pauillac commune, across the road from Château Mouton Rothschild. A powerful Bordeaux wine, Pontet Canet is concentrated, balanced, tannic, and charming. While in the past, the vineyard was respected for its history, it has found a new level of success in producing truly fine wines since the estate came under the management of Alfred Tesseron, working with director Jean-Michel Comme.
The winning bidder will take home 750ml bottles of the 2003, 2004, and 2005 vintages. The 2003 and 2005 are considered among the finest produced by the estate.
