Another Record Year at the 2017 Green & Gold Gala
Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, in partnership with the Green Bay Packers, held its 29th Annual Green & Gold Gala on the evening of Saturday, September 23th at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. This year’s event raised record proceeds of more than $350,000, which will be used to fund Family Services programs that keep homeless youth safe, provide a healing place for abused children, and help high-risk families with young children succeed.
We had nearly 700 guests in attendance, including 42 Packers alumni. Guests enjoyed great food, a silent and live auction, raffles, and an Alumni Panel discussion featuring four Packer greats.
A brief program featured the work and mission of Family Services, while also awarding Sue Lockwood with the Cherish the Child award for her 31 years of service helping those who have been victims of abuse and assault. We also awarded the Irene "Billie" Kress Community Impact Award to Geoff Lacy for his dedication to the children and families of Northeast Wisconsin.
Thank you to all of our sponsors, donors, volunteers and guests who helped make the event a great success!
