Floral arranging class for 10 with Rebecca Bodicky, founder of Alice Blue Collective.
Alice Blue Collective is a creative project dedicated to bringing the unexpected to everyday spaces. Founded by Rebecca Bodicky, the Collective provides unique floral arrangements for restaurants, coffee shops, homes, weddings, and events in St. Louis, MO. “Alice Blue” is a shade of blue that was frequently worn by Alice Roosevelt and was a favorite of Rebecca’s grandmother. The name pays tribute to her grandmother’s strength, ingenuity, wit, honesty, and friendship.
Rebecca Bodicky was first employed at a florist at the ripe old age of 16, where she learned to clean buckets, help make take home bouquets and how to design a dozen roses. Now, with over 10 years of experience working professionally with flowers, she is growing her own.
Having worked for internationally renowned artists, as a welder, vintage shop keeper, seamstress, upholsterer, server, barista, bartender and more, Rebecca’s career has taken many twists and turns. But never has there been such a good fit for all of her interests to weave into one. Working from her home studio, with a city lot across the street, her career as a farmer florist seems nothing but magical and on the rise.
