Orchestra seats and your choice of date!
Mandy Gonzalez, who plays Angelica Schuyler in the Tony-winning musical Hamilton, has donated two tickets (house seats in the Orchestra Section) to the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. The lucky winner can submit three possible dates that work best, and there is even a chance (can’t be guaranteed), of a backstage greeting.
The Art Center will sell no more than 250 raffle tickets, for $75 each, giving everyone at least a I in 250 chance of winning. Of course, if you purchase 2 tickets, or three (or more!) your odds of winning are even greater!
The winning raffle ticket will be pulled on Saturday April 22, 2017 at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.
Please note that if you purchase your ticket online we can mail it to you on request.
With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, music direction/orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical won 11 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Choreography and Orchestrations. Miranda received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Hamilton.
The musical, according to press notes, is the “story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War, and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now. The musical is produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman and The Public Theater.
